Invotra is supporting National Apprenticeship Week 2023

Apprenticeship Week at Invotra

Invotra is proudly taking part in National Apprenticeship Week (#NAW2023) from 6 to 12 February 2022. We are looking forward to all of the events hosted during the week.

This year the theme for the week is ‘skills for life’; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and help businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with skills for the future.

If you have any questions about our apprenticeship scheme, get in touch using the form below , or through our social media outlets.

Our first apprentices - where are they now?

44% of the Invotra workforce came through the apprenticeship scheme. Meet Managing Director Billy and Technology Director Nqobile, who started of as Invotra’s very first two apprentices.

Billy has been with Invotra since he joined in 2011 as one of our very first apprentices. He is now our Managing Director.

Read Billy’s case study or check out QA’s interview with Billy below.

Nqobile Dube started at Invotra during May of 2011 as a Software Development apprentice. Before he went ahead with his apprenticeship, Nqobile was actually already in university studying Computing. However, he felt that an apprenticeship would be a much better path to take.

Read Nqobile’s case study or check out QA’s interview with Nqobile about his success below

‘The apprenticeship scheme at Invotra offers an incredible journey, and one I am extremely thankful for. Not only are you supported to reach your potential whilst completing the courses, you are also put into meaningful work situations to gain vital experience (gone are the days of apprentices making tea). My ambition a few years ago was to join the Board of Directors, and to now be managing the board and the direction of the business is a true reflection of how much the apprenticeship scheme has had an impact on my success.”
