Can you tell us about your role and responsibilities at Invotra?

Within my role as junior account manager, I take care of all of our local authority customers. I’m also an apprentice ambassador for the company!

How did your journey begin at Invotra?

Before Invotra, I worked as a carpenter for a year. However, I knew I wanted an office job. Unfortunately, I didn’t know what direction to take but I did know that I didn’t want to go to university. So, I ended up choosing an apprenticeship in Project Management with Invotra, as it provided me with a lot of exciting avenues.

What is important to you when it comes to working culture?

Trust and being able to have fun but also have a good working relationship with all of your colleagues. I love Invotra’s table tennis culture, which is great for interacting with people.

Tell us about a project that you’re working on…

The onboarding of Bracknell Forest Council with SSO (single sign-on) integration.

What is one surprising/interesting fact that people don’t know about you?

I won a cutest baby competition when I was younger!

Name one career goal that you would like to achieve in the coming year…

I want to lead a team of apprentices. My apprenticeship has been truly life changing so I want to pay my success forward by helping and guiding others.

Is there anyone in particular, living or dead, that has inspired you throughout your career progression?

My grandad. Before retirement, he owned a kitchen and bathroom company. He was always a Lord Sugar figure to me, demonstrating what hard work and determination can get you. Also, my great grandad who fought in the war as a paratrooper. He always wore a suit, teaching me that looking dapper is the best policy.
