After working closely with the Department of Works & Pensions (DWP), one of the largest UK government departments, for the better part of a year – a year in which we saw the potential of basing our northern operations in Newcastle within easy reach of major centres like Leeds, Manchester & Edinburgh – Invotra is delighted to announce that we are making the investment in the area to grow our business in Newcastle and the northeast.
The new office in Newcastle joins the already established locations of Woking (Surrey), where we’re headquartered, as well as Dublin, Ireland.
Located in downtown Newcastle, just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas, and the Black Gate of Newcastle Castle, the Invotra office is an excellent central location from which to develop our business in the north of the UK.
DWP is just one of many UK Government departments that is leading a significant transformation of its digital services, both for its employees and its customers. Invotra is honoured to be able to help DWP with its transformation if its intranet and digital workspace technologies for its 84,000 employees.
By opening an office up in Newcastle, Invotra will be much closer to the vibrant tech scene in the northeast. If you have Drupal, Solr or Piwik skills, and are in interested in working with our great startup team, or just simply interested in learning more, drop us a line. We’d love to hear from you!
