Search
Searching by teams or locations breaks down your employee base into a far more easily searchable format. The ability to view people specific to a team or location increases the ease with which managers can organise their employees; enabling them to perform tasks with higher efficiency and put together teams based on users with similar skills and roles within the business.
Editable fields
There is also the ability for a webmaster to configure empty profiles, deciding what they want to be filled out, what editable fields they want disabled or hidden (Eg: locking what team a user belongs to by disabling the field, but not hiding it).
Furthermore, user data is incredibly dynamic, with the ability to select users from the directory and perform admin functions such as blocking, delegating, delete, move team or send an email with the click of a button.
Org Chart
We understand the confusion that can be caused with regards to hierarchy and structure within organisations, particularly the larger ones.
This is where our “Org Chart” feature is extremely useful. With this tool, you can create a detailed, organised flowchart, depicting the workflow and hierarchy within your company. The Org Chart simply requires you to fill out the top hierarchical layer, the rest is built out from information in the people directory, and the top layer can consist of more than one high-level person if the organisational structure demands it.
The Org Chart exists both as a site section and as a widget in the user profile section displaying in a two-up, one-down fashion in order to ensure it is easily legible.
Within the user profile, Invotra People displays the level one above and below on the Org Chart feature, and even correlates other similar users to ensure that finding people using the intranet is a hassle-free, intuitive task.
Recent comments that have been made are also displayed and the ability to follow users means that you can keep up to date with people’s activities without ever leaving your desk.
Invotra also built out a “Team Chart” feature, which, like the “Org Chart”, builds itself out in order to save you time.
All a webmaster is required to do is again fill out the top hierarchical layer and the rest builds out from parent terms.
