INVGOV-4.26 Release Notes

We have released a total of 40 tasks including 3security fix,  12 improvements, 7 fixes, 9 incidents and 9 internal tasks.

Release components

 

New features & improvements

  • INVGOV-8895: The visual cue for unpublished nodes has been changed to a status message above the node instead of a coloured background.

  • INVGOV-8893: The redundant “Add to lists” action button has been removed.

  • INVGOV-8892: We have added clear denotation for subsections in the root navigation menu.

  • INVGOV-8891: A new link to your user profile has been added for keyboard users.

  • INVGOV-8877: The ability to show the published date has been added to widgets.

  • INVGOV-8887: We have added the option to make the SSO button text configurable which includes choosing an icon.

  • INVGOV-9008: We are now treating Job roles as a string and creating them if they do not already exist.

  • INVGOV-8896: We have removed the aria-hidden attribute from Feed “New” as AS users weren’t able to tell if there were any new feed messages.

  • INVGOV-8890: We aligned the Matomo features between all customers who have moved to AWS Matomo, including user tracking, invalidate reports plugin and custom dimensions.

  • INVGOV-8946: We have switched all AWS environments to use the NodeJS API.

  • INVGOV-8889: We have updated the NodeJS version in all environments.

  • INVGOV-9013: We have made it possible to clear the manager field using the API.

Fixes

  • INVGOV-8903: In the heading on the user profile page, the h1 element started with <h1> but ended with <h2>.

  • INVGOV-8902: Corrected labels used for the author facet so the inputs have an accessible name.

  • INVGOV-8901: “Removed linked profile pictures from the tab order as it was redundant and caused excessive tabbing.

  • INVGOV-8898: Ideas Administrators were unable to delete comments on ideas but are now able to.

  • INVGOV-8904:  The ‘View More’ links on the profile page were appearing as links but were emulated as links, so the custom link has been replaced with native HTML button element.

  • INVGOV-9029: User profile pictures had increased in size when observed in My feed.

  • INVGOV-9023: We have fixed an issue where autosuggest was not showing all users of the same name.

Incidents raised by customers

  • INVGOV-8943: The heading level branding within widgets has been fixed after it disappeared.

  • INVGOV-8872: Users were receiving an Ajax 500 error when attempting to delete an Ideas evaluation.

  • INVGOV-8806: When using “Customise Page” in Ideas/Queries, users could drag the description text to the left-hand column and they were unable to move it back.

  • INVGOV-8760: Clicking a link in a node to another node would cause the page to load slightly past the anchor point.

  • INVGOV-8750: The history table in Queries was missing the first row of history.

  • INVGOV-8999:  When reassigning content to a new owner, some pages were becoming unpublished despite the review date being in the future.

  • INVGOV-8868:  Permissions to edit manual pages were not updating when a manual was moved between sections.

  • INVGOV-8747: Adding a video to a custom content widget was causing the video to overlap other elements on the page.

  • INVGOV-8734: Page titles were being cut off prematurely in Matomo.
