We have released a total of 34 tasks including improvements, 12 fixes, incidents and internal tasks.

Portal project

We have enhanced the capabilities of our Portal functionality so that webmasters can now control:

  • What apps external users should have access to such as Groups, Message Wall, Ideas and Queries.

  • Whether or not external users can access the people, teams or locations directories.

  • What pages external users have access to.

In addition, we have updated the team members page so that adding team members is done through a modal instead of input and going directly into the table. We have also added a task which ensures that users who have had “edit” permission removed do not have access to the workflow.

New features & improvements

  • INVGOV-9658: Allow person type (single) and role grades (multiple) to be passed through the user API endpoints.

  • INVGOV-9789: Improved readability and accessibility in widget style title configuration, we updated widget style titles to be more distinct from widget style heading styles or links.

  • INVGOV-9796: While using a view with pagination, selecting the browser “back” button will now lead the user back to the previous page they were on (as opposed to page one).

  • INVGOV-9798: Blogs, events, polls, queries are now sorted in descending order by date created.

  • INVGOV-9800: Allowed users to see if a comment has been edited/amended.

Fixes

  • INVGOV-9472: Resolved issue with webforms under Results > Table acting strangely.

  • INVGOV-9590: Resolved issue with GET /users/search not returning a 403 error when searching in a private group.

  • INVGOV-9659: Updated tab styles for the group post/poll form.

  • INVGOV-9667: Resolving issues of the tab order not matching the visual order, useful links menu cannot be activated with a screen-reader and the incorrect use of menubar role and other semantics.

  • INVGOV-9751: Resolved issue with InvotraPageCacheTest failures.

  • INVGOV-9782: Resolved issue with the getByUUID() method returning a random value if UUID passed is undefined or false.

  • INVGOV-9802: Resolved issue with a notice appearing on the My Feed page.

  • INVGOV-9809: Resolved issue with simple search widget not working with “Include children” option.

  • INVGOV-9810: Resolved issue of being unable to delete group posts.

  • INVGOV-9814: Resolved issue with a notice appearing on the “Add News” page.

  • INVGOV-9815: Resolved issue with the Apps, People & Teams and Locations items not displaying on the toolbar on UAT.

  • INVGOV-9849: Resolved issue with the scheme number in ‘invotra_menu’ module being less than the schema number in the database.

  • INVGOV-9470: Adding a hyphen into an @mention will cancel the user suggestion. This affects all user autocomplete fields.

  • INVGOV-9559: Search highlights not stripping HTML, causing some tags to become malformed.

  • INVGOV-9563: Non-standard characters in titles cause broken links.

  • INVGOV-9573: Specific tag widget (gen style 22) shows the option to use “show more” link. This should not be available.

  • INVGOV-9607: Section management screen freezes when using the “filter by role” dropdown.

  • INVGOV-9622: Manual pages are not deleted on the first attempt, manuals page is removed from the manual, but the manual is not removed as well.

  • INVGOV-9641: Webforms would become automatically published if editing the webform with preview mode enabled.

  • INVGOV-9790: Ensured that the node app does not use a cached session ID for longer than a configurable TTL which should default to 12 hours.

  • INVGOV-9791: A fix to improve the robustness of the Home Office importer.
